AI Engineering Institute (AIEI)
The AI Engineering Institute (AIEI) is Thailand’s national consortium for artificial intelligence, uniting nine leading research universities: CMKL, KMITL, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Prince of Songkla University, Khon Kaen University, Chulalongkorn University, KMUTT, and VISTEC. Established to accelerate the National AI Strategy, AIEI bridges academia and industry to develop an AI workforce and drive deep-tech innovation across sectors.
CMKL University
CMKL University was founded under a strategic collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and KMITL as Thailand’s first AI-focused university. Dedicated to practical AI research and innovation with real-world impact, CMKL bridges the gap between academic theory and industrial application, empowering a new generation of engineers and innovators to shape a smarter, sustainable future for society.
